Opiniões dos clientes
GPS SIGMA ROX 11.1 EVO Preto is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive and reliable little beast I was on the market for a new bike computer since i changed my smartphone environment to iOS therefore my trusty sigma BC 16.16 was sadly rendered "obsolete".. After many consideration and market analyse i decided to remain on the sigma ecosystem and gave the Sigma Rox 11.1 a shot. I have purchased the sensor kit Model. Out of the box 1st impressions where good however I found that it only comes with the butler mount and no stem type mount, which is what I kind of wanted. Setting up the device was easy with the assistance of Sigma Ride app and the customization of the screens is perfect. Mounting up the sensors was also easy however it’s only possible to do it with elastic bands provided, there is no option for zip ties, sadly. The getting ready to ride is quite smooth, just turn it on (the mount is not needed for it to work), connects straight away to sensors on it’s own, you ride down some meters and it’s already inquiring to start ride, you do it and that’s it; I had no moments of frustration wanting to have ride started and tech holding it back. I have found that GPS sometimes takes some minutes to pickup signal on my area but you can start the ride and recorded with supplied sensors, GPS picks up on it’s own after some moments). I have tested the recording of data on a walk with HR sensor, works great (need to wait for GPS signal pickup) and also on another bike without the sensors, all fine (using the app to change the ridding mode is great, can also be changed on device itself); one device for all my bikes. The screen contrast and colour is very sharp and clear, great to ride at night time and you can see perfectly clear in the daytime as well. Screen to body ratio could be slightly better however as it is the unit has a impression of sturdiness long last feel. Navigation can be done in 2 ways. Using komoot, phone connected to gps (just turn Bluetooth on and that’s all), you start a ride on the komoot app and then turn to turn navigation is given to the screen straight away. At the moment of a turn, even if not on the navigation screen the bottom part shows the direction turn and then disappears when passed. There is a option to add the GPS accuracy status on the screen, that is useful. This turn by turn navigation it’s like using a navigation app (like driving a car with google maps) with only sound on, so direction only. Overall works fine, I would not personally rely only on it for navigation solely. The second method is to upload a .gpx file from komoot or any other track creating app to the Sigma ride app and then to the Rox. This will show a “snake like” path with the uploaded track. If you get off track it will notify you and will zoom out on screen (there is a nice little legend that tells how much distance represents the one displayed on the screen, I did not find a way to zoom out/in manually). Both navigation can be added, removed and edited in the middle of the training with no interference to it and, my congratulation to Sigma since your smartphone will be the one to determine the smoothness of this task, the Rox takes the order from the phone as soon as it is sent to it! I would welcome a combination of both navigation methods, in my opinion that would make navigation perfect. I have not tested a TACX trainer or a electric bike yet however I would imagine it should work as promised since all claims were delivered. Battery life is as claimed and, at last the implementation of a USB-C charger! After ride is complete, uploading it to strava is just smooth and fast as other features (default name of ride will be the one on the ride mode), and to sigma data centre as well. So far what I disliked is: You won’t be able to pause a training, shut the device off and then resume it again (trying to shut it off stops the training and you can lose your progress); one must be careful not to press any button when you want to take a break somewhere and you place the Rox on the pocket. There is no option to have the Fuel save feature that the Sigma 16.16 had, I really fancied that. Lack of Stem Mount on the sensor pack. Unableness to use zip ties whille securing sensors. Overall I’m quite pleased with my purchase as it was what I expected and expected was delivered! I would recommend it to anyone that manly wants to record data progress and is ok with a simpler yet effective navigation option or, a fancy reliable e super effective bike computer - one unit will do for all bikes. On this segment and for the price it’s one of if not the best option, in my humble opinion.
